Manufacturing Employees In Liberal States Still Have Higher Salaries Than Manufacturing Employees In Conservative States
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Statistical Abstract of the United States: 2008 the Average Salary of Manufacturing Employees in the United States in 2005 was $44,035. 24 out of 31 Conservative States had a lower than Average Salary of Manufacturing Employees (77% of Conservative States) versus 7 out of 20 Liberal States that had a lower than Average Salary of Manufacturing Employees (35% of Liberal States). The lowest Average Salary of Manufacturing Employees in the country is found in Mississippi with $33,593. The highest Average Salary of Manufacturing Employees in the country is found in Connecticut with $51,378.

There Are Still Fewer Deaths Due To Accidents In Liberal States Than In Conservative States
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Statistical Abstract of the United States: 2008 the average rate of Deaths due to Accidents in the United States in 2004 was 38.1 per 100,000 people. 25 out of 31 Conservative States had a higher than average rate of Deaths due to Accidents (81% of Conservative States) versus 5 out of 20 Liberal States that had a higher than average rate of Deaths due to Accidents (25% of Liberal States). The highest rate of Deaths due to Accidents in the country is found in New Mexico with 64.3 per 100,000 people.
